A 48-year-old man, Makinde Rasaq, has been arrested by the Lagos State Task Force for allegedly dumping refuse indiscriminately on a public road.
The state Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, confirmed the arrest in a post on his X handle on Sunday.
Rasaq is currently in custody at the Task Force office in Oshodi, Lagos, as authorities continue with further processing.
